Camera Shots

Straight High Angle




This is the main shot that will be used - straight on, looking at the front of the band. We may look to use a step ladder to gain extra height.
360 Shot

Here is a 360 shot of the jump box where the band will be performing. Using the skateboards we can make the shots smooth and we can use this method for other tracking shots. After researching performance aspects in music videos such as Lostporphets - Shinobi vs Dragon Ninja we found the video uses alot of moving shorts such as the 360 shot







We will use the ramps to create a high angle shot which is also where the light is coming from. This will create a good effect

Lighting



Lighting comes from either side of the box hoping to create a spotlight crossover effect - This is ideal for the characteristics of the video as the box is like a stage. The shadows created will look great and we are hoping to have some some shots which include low-key lighting which we wish to use and having this type of lighting allows us to do this.

After experimenting with our lighting the we found the big torches using a beam of light is created which gives us great ideas for shots including





Here is a photo of the effect of low key lighting total darkness in the background and partial lighting to the cat. By using this effect we can create a sense of importance towards an object or person. We may use this effect on the instruments as well as the band members



Two gaslights on the box - This should almost be the main part of the lighting and the low lighting should give off a great affect. After little experiments with the lights we have seen that they create great all round shadow effects. From these shadows we can then produce shots of the shadows which would be good for 'fill ins'
